what is sofxle?

SOFxLE is a resilience and performance training system built specifically for law enforcement professionals. Drawing from elite military performance principles, leadership development, stress inoculation, and performance psychology, SOFxLE helps agencies strengthen the officer before the critical incident occurs—not after.

The focus is not simply surviving stress, but developing professionals capable of sustained operational performance, sound decision-making, emotional regulation, leadership, and long-term resilience under pressure.

Developing the ability to remain composed, focused, and decisive in high-stress operational environments. Training emphasizes emotional regulation, attentional control, and effective decision-making when cognitive load, uncertainty, and pressure are elevated.

Building the psychological and physiological capacity to withstand chronic operational stress while maintaining effectiveness over time. Focus areas include stress exposure, recovery practices, nervous system regulation, and resilience development before performance degradation occurs.

Dr. Alice Atalanta is an elite performance strategist specializing in resilience, leadership, and performance under pressure. Her work integrates principles from performance psychology, leadership development, stress inoculation, and high-performance training to help professionals sustain operational effectiveness in demanding environments.

Drawing from experience working alongside elite military, law enforcement, and high-performing athletic populations, Dr. Atalanta developed SOFxLE to address the growing need for proactive resilience infrastructure within law enforcement culture.

In addition to her work with law enforcement professionals, she has consulted in elite athletics (including Team USA) and leadership development environments focused on sustainable performance, decision-making under pressure, and human resilience.
